Shafer trail over look in the @canyonlandsnps. Sadly the trail was still closed this time of year, if you had been on other trails you'd understand why. If you saw the mud caked to my Jeep in any of my stories, well yeah... This image specifically is a combination of about 9 or 12 images. Using a 100mm lense to shorten and flatten the image I created shot in a grid pattern, then stictched them together at the end. This is shot just as golden hour ended and blue hour starts. I had tried to hike up the dunes before sunset with Alo, but about three quarters of a mile he had decided he doesn't like soft sand and forced me to turn around to let him sleep in Cast Iron. Sadly a group of people had beat me up the dunes with my turn around and they sat right in the shot I wanted, but o'well that happens when doing landscapes.
